The Octagon's elegant atmosphere has bred educational enrichment for more than a century. Built in 1855, Mt. Washington's historic Octagon building has served as both a finishing school for the young women of Baltimore and later as a college. Today, the Octagon brings you to a new level of learning. The Octagon's eight luxurious suites are richly decorated and appointed. Each suite features a kitchenette tucked inside an armoire, two telephones, voice mail with Internet access, electric shoeshine, bath robe, hair dryer and iron with ironing board.

Dining in the Octagon is also an elegant treat. The atrium and adjoining dining room are a perfect setting for a formal dinner for 35 to a lavish reception for 100.
